Hardwood sanding and refinishing
Bring tired, scratched hardwood back to life. We sand, repair and refinish hardwood floors — or change the colour with a new stain.
Worn, scratched or dull hardwood doesn’t always need replacing. Refinishing removes years of wear and gives you a fresh, protected surface — often for much less than new flooring.
How it works
- Assess — we check the boards and how much wood is left to sand.
- Sand and repair — we sand back the old finish and repair damaged boards where needed.
- Stain (optional) — keep the natural colour or choose a new stain.
- Finish — protective coats for a durable, even sheen.
Hardwood Refinishing FAQs
Can my floors be refinished?
Solid hardwood can usually be refinished several times. Engineered hardwood depends on the thickness of the top layer — we’ll check during our visit.
Can I change the colour?
Yes. After sanding, we can apply a new stain. We’ll test colours on your floor so you can see them first.
Can I stay in my home?
Usually, but you’ll need to stay off the floors while the finish cures. We’ll explain the timing for your job when we estimate.
