About us
A family flooring business, three generations in the making
RM Flooring & Cabinetry is run by brothers Marco and Richard, carrying on a craft their father Franco brought from Italy more than fifty years ago.
Where it started
More than half a century ago, Franco left Italy for Canada with a passion for flooring and a serious work ethic. He made his name as a carpet and vinyl installer, and by the 1990s was running a well-known flooring business in Vancouver.
The next generation
Franco’s sons, Marco and Richard, grew up around the trade. In 2009 they opened 5 Star Flooring in North Burnaby, later moving into Vancouver’s Trev Deeley centre and partnering with All About Floors until 2018. That’s when the brothers relaunched as RM Flooring — built on the same values of quality, honesty and personal service.
Today
Our showroom and warehouse are at 120 Glacier Street in Coquitlam, giving customers more space to see products and easier access from across the Lower Mainland. We work with homeowners, contractors, property managers, and insurance and restoration companies — and we still treat every job like it has the family name on it. Because it does.
