Engineered or solid?
Engineered hardwood has a real-wood top layer over a stable core, so it handles the Lower Mainland’s humidity well and can go over concrete and radiant heat. Solid hardwood is milled from a single piece of wood and can be sanded and refinished many times. We’ll recommend what suits your home, subfloor and budget.

Can hardwood go in a condo?
Often, yes. Many stratas require a specific acoustic underlay — we’ll check your strata’s rules and recommend an engineered floor and underlay that meet them.
Is hardwood OK in a kitchen?
Engineered hardwood works well in kitchens with sensible care — wipe up spills promptly and use mats at the sink. If you want fully waterproof, ask us about vinyl plank.
Do you remove the old flooring?
Yes. We can remove and dispose of existing flooring and prepare the subfloor as part of your estimate.
Can I see samples first?
Absolutely. Visit our Coquitlam showroom, or we can bring samples when we come to measure.
