Our journey begins over half a century ago when Franco, a skilled artisan, embarked on a voyage from Italy to Canada in pursuit of a dream. Armed with nothing but his passion for flooring and an unwavering work ethic, Franco swiftly made his mark in the industry as a carpet and vinyl installer. His commitment to excellence caught the eye of his employers, eventually leading him to take the helm of a prominent flooring business in Vancouver during the 1990s.

With a foundation built on diligence and craftsmanship, Franco laid the groundwork for his sons, Marco and Richard, to follow in his footsteps. In 2009, the duo ventured into the flooring industry with 5 Star Flooring, setting up shop in North Burnaby. However, their ambition and dedication quickly propelled them beyond the confines of their initial location, necessitating a move just blocks away into the heart of Vancouver’s Trev Deeley Harley Davidson Centre, where they stand today.

As fate would have it, 5 Star Flooring found a like-minded partner in All About Floors, forging a partnership that endured until 2018. It was during this transformative period that Richard and Marco seized the opportunity to reimagine their identity, leading to the birth of RM Flooring. With a renewed focus on their core values of quality, integrity, and personalized service, RM Flooring emerged as a beacon of excellence in the industry.
